Our first wedding ceremony!

I am so excited to say that we hosted our very first wedding ceremony last weekend! We have wedding reception bookings for 2026, but this ceremony was a complete surprise 🤗

The bride, Megan, reached out to me on Thursday afternoon. They had their wedding planned for outside on Saturday but the forecast was calling for rain 😣

She thought it may have been too short of notice, but what she didn’t realize is that I thrive under tight deadlines lol!

I had class that evening then they came to see the space and loved it! After my mid-day class on Friday, I started setting up the chairs and they had their rehearsal at 5pm! Events by Jas added a few finishing touches and they had a beautiful wedding ceremony the following day!

I have been thinking about the idea of wedding ceremonies here for some time but held back on moving forward with it. I’m very thankful that Megan and Andrew trusted me to help them make this happen!

I’ve spent the past 2 days separating my websites and I will be putting together a few wedding package options this week. I’m so excited for the future of events at The Dancery ❤️
